Let It Fall

Don’t hold back that tear on the edge
In great happiness or immense sorrow
Empty your box of treasures today
You might find better ones to fill some day

For those are priceless glittering drops
That ought to be lost, real fast
Reminding you of the golden memories
And ones that are too hard carry all alone

Let the earth bear some weight
Of the memories that fill your heart
Let your thoughts enjoy the breeze
And the freedom to flow along with raindrops

Don’t hold back that tear on the edge
In great happiness or immense sorrow
Empty your box of treasures today
You’ll find more on your way to the burrow

P.S please suggest a better title for the poem

  1. I liked the thought behind the verse.
As for the title, maybe something like a 'tear's weight' or 'those drops on a suicidal mission' would go well i guess.
